2nd Annual Vulture Festival Saturday, November 15

Celebrate Radford’s wonderful vulture culture with fun vulture-related activities and meet Radford’s resident vulture, Buttercup.

On Saturday November 15 at 7am there will be an opportunity to watch the vultures leave the roost. Folks will meet at the corner of Wadsworth and Sundell and watch the vultures leave the trees along Sundell. There will be hot beverages. On Saturday afternoon from 2-5 we will have activities at the Rec Center including art projects, posters, A live vulture, Buttecup, and snacks (suitable for human consumption). Hopefully we will see the vultures return to their roosts from the hill at the Radford Recreation Center.
