The Moscow State Radio Symphony Orchestra was founded in 1978 for the primary purpose of broadcasting the great symphonic works over the radio, and subsequently on television. In addition to these broadcasts, the orchestra has produced thirty-two recordings and has toured throughout Europe, Asia, and an extensive 22-state tour in the United States in 2004. The Radford University performance will feature an all-Tchaikovsky concert that includes the “Hamlet Fantasy Overture,” “Violin Concerto in D Major,” and “Symphony No. 6 in B minor” providing our campus and community with a truly exciting and authentic presentation.
Tickets for these events will be available two weeks before the performance. "The Bonnie" Hurlburt Student Center Information and Event Planning Office (540) 831-5420
