Date: MARCH 13TH 2010
Time: 5K Run/Walk starts at 9:30am. Children's Fun Run festivities begin at 10:30am.
Place: Bisset Park, Radford VA
Registration: Opens at 8:30am at Shelter #2 in Bisset Park. Race packets may be picked up from 8:30am-9:15am on race day for 5K participants. Children's Fun Run race packets may be picked up from 9:15am-10:15am.
Entry Fees for 5K Run/Walk: $15 includes T-Shirt (if pre-registered by March 5th). $20 after March 5th.
Fun Runs: For ages 12 and under. $5 (fee remains the same regardless of fate of registration) includes a t-shirt (if pre-registared by March 5th) options include a Diaper Dash (3 and under), 100 Yard Dash (4-7), and a 1 mile run/walk.
Course: The 5K run/walk begins at Shelter #1 and is a level course that proceeds along the Riverway, all others begin near Shelter #2, Strollers are allowed on all courses.
Awards: Trophies for the Top Three Walkers Overall. No age divisions. 5K Shamrock Run: Trophies for overall male and female winners and top two male and female finishers in each age division. Trophy for top Male and Female 1 mile finishers. Medal for all other Fun Runs Participants.
5K Run Divisions: 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, and 50+
